Eligibility:
-you must hold a PhD in organic synthesis, and be accomplished in synthetic organic chemistry.
-Synthetic expertise in amino acid chemistry or other aspects of synthesis applied to bioorganic chemistry, would be appropriate.
- Experience of applying relevant analytical skills, techniques and methods.
-High level of analytical capability.
-Good communication skills.

Scholarship Description: A highly motivated individual is sought to work with Professor David O’Hagan within the School of Chemistry and Centre for Biomolecular Sciences. This post is funded by the European Research Council (ERC) and will involve the synthesis of conformationally biased neurotransmitter analogues. You must hold a PhD in organic synthesis, and be accomplished in synthetic organic chemistry. Synthetic expertise in amino acid chemistry or other aspects of synthesis applied to bioorganic chemistry, would be appropriate.
