Eligibility:
-Suitable candidates should have a track record in a research and development environment.

-Previous experience in the development of in vitro and in vivo assays is also essential.

Postdoctoral Fellowship Description: Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a Postdoctoral Researcher position within the Network of Excellence for Functional Biomaterials (NFB) at the National University of Ireland, Galway. This is a collaborative project with a multinational medical device company.A postdoctoral researcher position for one year, which may be extended, subject to review, will be available starting in September 2012. The successful applicant will develop a wide range of in vitro assays to evaluate the biodegradation of biological devices Galway is also one of the key cities in Europe with a significant presence of the medical device industry sector.
