Scholarships 2011 Description: Fellowships are open to students and scholars in Near Eastern studies from prehistory through the early Islamic period, including the fields of archaeology, anthropology, art history, Bible, epigraphy, historical geography, history, language, literature, philology and religion and related disciplines.
$12,000 for 3 months. The stipend is $9,060; remainder ($2,940) is for room and half-board at the Institute. Open to all European post-doctoral researchers who are permanently resident in Europe. The research period should be continuous, without frequent trips outside the country.
