Eligibility: Application is open to surgical trainees at ST7 or more senior by May 2011 or to consultants within 10 years of appointment.
-Surgeons from the following specialties may apply: General surgery, including any of the subspecialties (Breast, Vascular, Colorectal, Upper GI, Hepato-pancreatico-biliary, Endocrine), Cardiothoracic, Plastic , Urology, General Paediatric, Transplantation or Military Surgery.
-The Travelling Surgical Society does not have members in Ophthalmic, ENT, OMFS or Orthopaedic Surgery.

International Scholarships for International Students: No

Scholarship Description: The Travelling Surgical Society of Great Britain and Ireland is a group of surgeons from across the United Kingdom which travels to various hospitals and surgical departments around the world and in the UK. These are academic and clinical meetings and the purpose is to encourage educational and surgical exchanges.
